Frappr is a cool site (although not the coolest looking) that uses Google Maps technology to allow anyone to put a virtual pushpin where they live on earth. PodBop is a real neat site I just heard about on Inside the Net (iTunes Link). It allows you to search for upcoming concerts in your area.
