The problem was it stunk - I tried vinegar to get rid of possible soap scum build up inside - still stunk. Then ran it many times with bleach - still stunk..finally, a friend who is a plumber to me to try tang.For me, it worked great. Ran it one time the odor was gone. Ran it a second time just to make sure. Yea, no more hand washing dishes! My dishwasher did not turn orange....Now is anyone could tell me how to make the "pots and pans" cycle actually clean a pot?
