Everyone gets their 15 minutes of fame and I guess I’m getting mine by proxy. Today my wife informed me that — according to her source — I remind someone of a character on…gulp…MTV’s Laguna Beach.
Now, you might laugh. You might laugh quite hard. OK, stop laughing! But resembling a character (it’s Chase by the way) on a popular TV show may have it’s perks. I could get into a high society Los Angeles nightclub without paying off the bouncer. I might get some clothing endorsements or even be in a Target commercial.
Or, I’ll get beat up at the mall by some kid trying to impress his star-struck girlfriend.
I’m staying away from the mall.
