Digital Camera Recommendation?

Over the last 3 months, my digital camera has really taken a dive in terms of image quality. The short of it is, I take more photos in low light than I do in proper light. Specifically, I take a lot of pictures at concerts. So, while the CCD in my Canon A70 may still have plenty of life in it, it just doesn’t do low light situations very well anymore. Too much noise. That ugly, horrible color noise. The kind that takes your superb concert shot and makes it look like grandma grabbed the camera at birthday party.

So, I’m looking for recommendations. I’m not good enough for a digital SLR, nor could I ever hope to afford one. But something compact, in the 5-7 megapixel range, below $400 (or lower would be great, that is the absolute top end) and does well in low light situations. If you have a recommendation, that would be awesome. If you want to link to photo you took with that particular camera, that is cool as well, but not required.

Thanks, Rob

Our Canon Powershot A620 is great. The price has come down A LOT since we bought ours. You can find it online for slightly under $300. Most of our pictures on our website were taken with it.
